Well, where do we begin? Essentially, we’ve reversed the process of traditional employment. Rather than advertising and waiting for candidates to respond, you’re able to search a database of job seekers to find ideal candidates for your role. Snaffle allows you to objectively filter job seekers using criteria such as job title, experience, qualifications, remuneration, availability - you get the jist! Our clever technology generates a list of candidates who match your fundamental criteria, immediately.
Snaffle is amazingly quick and easy; once you’ve found your ideal candidates, you simply purchase as many full profiles as you wish to view. From there, it’s as easy as contacting your top prospects directly for an interview.
This means no more advertising and waiting for candidates to respond, or sifting through a mountain of CV’s. What’s more, because you only contact the candidates that match your criteria, you can avoid the hassle of replying to every CV which lands on your desk.
It’s best to start with a broad search in order to see your total candidate pool, then refine your results with the filters you find most appropriate. If you have not found any candidates, try amending the job criteria filters such as remuneration, specialisation and job availability.
Occasionally, no results will be found for your ideal criteria. This may be because your ideal candidate is not willing to work in your area or Snaffle is still gaining traction in your industry. Response time will vary for different job seekers. It really depends on the demand for staff in particular industries and locations. Even if you’re not snaffled straight away, your profile remains active in our system until you do.
If you haven’t been emailed or called by any potential employers within three weeks, we recommend amending your profile to ensure you’re ticking the right boxes. See our match pointers for assistance.
We’ll email you as soon as your profile is purchased by an employer. Once purchased, an employer will view your profile, CV, cover letter and supporting documents. If you’re a top contender for the role, they’ll be in touch shortly after that to arrange an interview (please remember to update your status when you do get a job).
Please be aware that, even though your profile may have been purchased, an employer is not obligated to contact you. If your profile is repeatedly being purchased but you aren’t being contacted, you may need to work on your CV (see below), consider adding supporting documents or draft a cover letter (if all else fails, make sure your contact details are correct!).
The better your CV, the better chance you have of getting a phone call from an employer who has purchased your profile. If your profile is being purchased, but the employers don’t seem to be making the next step and calling you, then your CV probably needs a tweak.

Snaffle is the brainchild of Carl and Amber McNulty, a dynamic brother-sister team who are passionate about doing things better.
When Carl’s boss complained about the huge cost and invaluable time consumed finding new staff, Carl mulled the problem over, thinking “there must be a better way” - a way that could harness the capabilities of today’s technology whilst reducing the costs and stresses of employment.
A thorough examination of the current employment process indicated there were fundamental flaws; why should employers have to wait for job seekers to come to them, and why should job seekers have to send hundreds of CV’s into the void to never receive a response?
Carl realised the solution lay in reversing the process.
After extensive feedback from a multitude of businesses, they developed a system that would break down New Zealand's job market, revolutionising the process of employment and creating a tool that matches job seekers with employers like never before.
And thus came Snaffle … a much, much better way.
